I am not going to hide my excitement for spring on this side of the world, most certainly not! I am so welcoming it with open arms, especially because this winter has been such a tough long one. If you have been checking out my Instagram and Facebook account you will see we have been busy doing some work on the land here at Temple de la rose, felling all the dead and dangerous trees that have been threatening our house, its not been easy watching some of the healthy ones have to be cut down, but it really was necessary as the roots of the pine trees on our bank do not go very deep and these forty five-year-old pines could have dropped at any time!
We have come across more springs, that have sprung into life in the area that we wish to build a mediation/movement/devotional studio and a meteorite rock!!! ( we live in a meteorite bowl!) So we are learning to adapt our plans as the world sends us all these lovely little gifts and challenges. We have been working in the wind and rain , in the sun and the frost, moving and chipping branches, lugging logs and rearranging all the green houses and poly tunnels for the trees to be felled. Marlon my beloved partner has been out there day after day with a great team of workmen, arbrists, engineers , my son , a dear friend and my moi! So I type this today in the shelter of my office to the sound of the wood chipper and the chainsaws taking down the last of the trees.
I have been busy busy with all this and my work, im involved in some exciting projects at the moment, supporting a wonderful foundation who will be hosting a Myrrhophore event virtually in Lebanon ! ( i will be sharing the details of this event nearer the time.) I am also involved in a 'Divine Feminine Wellness - online retreat' where 20 of us will be interviewed and present a teaching for all women to recieve as part of a holsitic wellness event. Not to mention the wonderful work that I have been doing with MEANINGFUL MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS! have you had a look around the new look website? Apothecary I have been brewing a special oil over the last couple of months ...
Venus is the symbol of beauty and love. This oil was processed and made while embodying and working with her archetype and symbolic representation for women in our collective.
