The Story of the Apothecary
Collette Corcoran birthed Apothecary whilst embarking on a Jungian psychology individuation process that ignited her Healer and Mystic Archetypes into action whilst working on the land at Le Temple de la Rose. A magical process that involved claiming back her ancestral lineage and land. Clearing the overgrown, neglected woods and garden to reveal a magical plethora of healing herbs and plants that awoke and blessed her as she rediscovered these parts of herself. The prayers and incantations woke up the plant life and the ancestors prompted her to work with what was gifted to help heal others. The Apothecary has been a mystical process and everything that is born from it has been given the attention of the sacred and holy in every moment and detail.
The process we believe is unique and a divine preparation of working with the spirit of the plant as it goes through a sacred ceremony. Collette also gathers the herbs in the same way from sacred sites in the same region of France.
- They are only picked when they allow
- When the herbs are picked a sacred prayer and alchemical process captures the spirit of the plant. They are thanked and appreciated for their sacrifice.
- They are dried or processed using prayer and incantation .
- They are naturally dried in the sun is infused into the plant. They are given prayers as they dry so their essence remains and they know their purpose.
- As the plants go through the second process of being captured in alcohol, oil or refined they are held in ceremony, they are smudged and incantations are given.
- All process involve Collette being in a ceremonial and mystical process, praying for the plant to heal another.
