How healing The Mother Wound could heal the World

The Mother Wound is passed on to us women from generation to generation, each woman passes the baton down to the next in the hope that the women of these generations heals part of it. All women carry it, it plays out in all our lives and we carry this as we try to function in a world that has denied our woman hoods power. The world has been running on many programmes of moral and social injustices against women:  the  anti-ageing agenda for hundreds of years to keep women out of their true ‘mother/woman’ power. 

Feminism took women out of their feminine power and into their animus (masculinity) and this became the social conditioning for women who wanted to become successful, powerful, strong.. to do it like a man and hate on men , to compete with men as they did it. This agenda kept them from their true feminine prowess and deeper into their Mother wound.
  

Women are not here to compete with men, nor are they here to be equal with men, tune into what that energy does , where that leads you, it takes you away from the centre of being a woman and owning all of that  you are. It expels energy to be in push and pull with men , rather than the flow of the self, to be by the side of a man.  They are here to be women. We are at war with the masculine, competing , trying to gain power, showing we are bigger and better , yet we want to condemn patriarchy for doing the very same thing. Make love not war we said in the 60s , yet we made war on men, on the family unit, on our cultures and societies as we thought that healing the mother wound meant not being like our mother, when all the time without realising it we actually are…in the mother wound. 

We are unaware of the oppressive behaviours we carry that have been impregnated in our lineage for thousands of years. 

The mother wound goes back to the original split we have with THE MOTHER, the creator , the giver of life .. the feminine aspect of God. Society even managed to turn her into man with a white beard that lives in the sky to remove us from what is the polar opposite! The Mother birthed us , we were birthed in life by a feminine force, that we cannot dispute or we dispute the whole rule of nature. 

This enigmatic mystery of who that Mother is , is one that is never to be solved, will never be  understood , will always to be questioned and searched for as an experience of the human soul who is seeking to know itself.

 To seek the Mother is to venture into your very being beyond the scopes of all understanding and into the depths of your very creation. The separation starts there and it has fed through your lineage since that time when we began to walk away from that knowledge. 

The Mother was always revered by the ancients,  she was whole heartedly worshipped ; for all knew she created life, gave life and nurtured life on earth. Her force could not simply be processed down to her ‘sex’ , that  process has happened over such a long period of time. In her worship we worshipped all feminine energy as sacred, as Holy , with love and respect and offered her our protection. We were at peace with the masculine. The masculine felt loved, held, supported and he led the way to Her always.

How times have changed… how the passage of time has left deep traumatic imprints upon all the women  and  men who came before us, how the trauma, the suffering of our feminine ancestors have gathered within our very DNA and leave an mark upon us that we cannot simply wash away, magic away, meditate away, but only can we work into those deeply, with guidance, with care and with tools that allow us to pick open those wounds and heal them once and for all. There are many of us doing that, we are opening up those wounds , realising them, emoting them , healing them by acting upon them. We are changing that and we are in that healing finding the part of us that feels the ancient call to honour Great Mother once again and make peace with our own Mother. 

All the distance we feel from our own mother, all the pain, all the suffering, the differences, the similarities, the dependence, the revolt,  and even the denial of it all is there to be healed , is there to show us what our lineage holds. 

Take a look at your relationship with your maternal Mother ,  what does it show you about your lineage and the feminine ? 

Start with that . Write down the words that best describe your relationship and you will get a clue as to what it is that you need to heal. 

What are the things about her you dislike? How are those pieces showing you what your ancestors held and have brought forward?

 Where do you hold them?

Where are your wounds as a woman?

 Where do you not revere and worship the mother? Where do you need to heal?

Somethings cannot be healed but can be transformed, it is about transforming these wounds to come out of the patterns that they have trapped us in. 

When we heal our Mother wound we heal the world, we really do. We heal the men , we heal the women , we heal the future generations. Patriarchy, suppression ,oppression the thirst for the will to power, to own , to enslave, to have wealth all comes from the lack of connection to the Mother. In the Mothers arms we have everything we need, our thirst is quenched by her milk, our hunger is satisfied her food, She offers us shelter and a home, and the ultimate search for love that is in the eyes of all human beings is met in hers. See the Mother, feel the Mother, heal your rift with The Mother and we will see the world change….
