There was a time when womens clocks were measured by seasons of the blood. The feminine path was marked by three great thresholds:

The Four Seasons : the monthly cycle with its descent, release, renewal, and rising.

The Red Gate : the final blood, the closing of the fertile river.

The Fifth Season : the ancestral womb, where wisdom becomes the woman’s new flow.

This ancient remembering stirred in my own blood , whispered to my womb through the rivers of ancestral blood . Women of the tribe gathered in a circle beneath the trees. The grandmothers wore long robes the colour of red earth and Rowan berries. The maidens carried small pouches embroidered with symbols passed down for generations.

And in the centre, the Druidess held THE RED CLOTH that marked a woman’s inner crossing.

A cloth for the woman who was learning her cycle.

A cloth for the woman whose last bleed approached.

A cloth for the elder whose wisdom had become her river.

Every woman held her cloth.Most women today pass through their seasons without the deep recognition of what it holds, women don't honour thier final bleed or know what to do when it stops.This initation will bring an ancient blood rite back to your womb , your lineage and honour those women who came before you.
