As Venus continues her journey through the underworld, we move beneath the old identities we have been shedding and into what has been waiting underneath them.
This class is an exploration of the hidden emotional life of Venus — the desire we have silenced, the grief we have carried quietly, the anger we have softened or spiritualised, and the truths we may have known for a long time without fully allowing ourselves to speak.
So much of the feminine psyche is shaped by adaptation. We learn how to remain lovable, acceptable, desirable, easy to be around, emotionally contained, useful, forgiving, composed. And yet beneath those adaptations, there is often another layer of feeling that has never disappeared.
The Hidden Rose is where we meet that layer.
Through a psychoastrological and Feminine Mystery lens, we will explore the emotions and desires that tend to move into shadow when they feel too disruptive to the version of ourselves we have learned to be. We will look at the difference between emotion and enactment, between anger and destruction, between longing and dependency, between grief and collapse, and at the deeper intelligence carried inside the feelings we often try to manage away.
This class is about making contact with what is true beneath the surface.
What do I desire that I have been afraid to admit?
What am I grieving that I have never fully mourned?
What is my anger trying to tell me?
What truth becomes visible when I stop editing myself?
Through teaching, reflection, discussion and guided inner work, we will begin to listen to these hidden parts of Venus with more honesty and less judgement.
We will explore how grief can reveal what mattered, how anger can point towards violated boundaries or unlived truth, how desire can reconnect us with vitality, and how the parts of ourselves we have hidden often carry the very life-force we are trying to reclaim.
This is not a class about becoming more emotional.
It is about becoming more conscious.
It is about learning to hear what the psyche has been communicating beneath the surface, and allowing the hidden rose to open slowly, in its own time.
