Venus- Falling in Love with the Feminine

There are moments when the movement of the heavens feels too significant to mention in an astrology forecast and simply move on. This is one of them.

Venus has entered Scorpio and is slowing towards one of the most important turning points in her cycle. Just days after we gather, she will turn retrograde and begin retracing her path through Scorpio and Libra, taking us into an extraordinary period of reflection around love, desire, relationship, beauty, pleasure, value and the choices we make about what — and whom — we allow close to us.

The Venus pattern we are moving through right now feels far too powerful to ignore.

We will explore Venus as part of the sacred feminine and Rose tradition, moving beyond her familiar association with romantic love into her deeper territories of beauty, sensuality, pleasure, desire, value, receptivity, relationship and the feminine art of choosing and receiving.

And then we will turn to the sky and follow the extraordinary Venus journey we are living through now, looking at:

• Venus entering Scorpio — a movement into deeper desire, intimacy, sexuality, truth and the hidden emotional layers of relationship.

• Venus slowing to station — the threshold we will be standing upon when we meet on 30 September.

• Venus retrograde in Scorpio — a period of revisiting desire, attachment, attraction, value and what we truly want.

• Venus returning to Libra — bringing the focus back to relationship, reciprocity, harmony, choice and the balance between self and other.

• Venus meeting the Sun — an important turning point within the Venus cycle and the continuing formation of the Venus Star.

• Venus stationing direct — beginning the journey forwards with what has been revealed and reconsidered.

• Venus returning to Scorpio — revisiting the territory where this journey began, but from a different place within ourselves.

• The Venus Star — the beautiful five-fold pattern Venus creates through her repeating relationship with the Sun, and how we can begin following this larger Venusian rhythm within our own lives.

You will receive a specially created Sacred Rose Venus Star Journal & Map so that this becomes more than an astrology class. As Venus moves through these different stages, you will be able to plot what is happening in your own Venusian world — love, desire, relationship, beauty, pleasure, value, money, creativity, sensuality and receiving — and begin to recognise the pattern as it unfolds.

We meet at the threshold of the retrograde, but our Venus journey will continue long after the class has ended.
