The Reclamation of a Woman’s Body Is the Beginning of Sovereignty

There is an increasing visibility around violence against women in our world, and every woman can feel the gravity of it in her body. It stirs grief, rage, sorrow, fear, memory, and a deeper recognition that this has never belonged only to headline culture. This has lived in the fabric of the world for a very long time. It has lived in silence, in systems, in homes, in relationships, in the shaping of women’s nervous systems, in the way women have been taught to shrink, soften, appease, endure, disconnect, and survive. What is happening now is that more of it is being illuminated, more of the shadow is rising into visibility, what has been hidden is becoming impossible to look away from. When shadow rises, it rises because it is ready to be seen and brought through transformation.
This is where women must understand something essential; that violence against women is not only the visible act. It is part of a much older desecration of the feminine, it begins wherever a woman is severed from her body, wherever she is taught that her sensuality belongs to the gaze of the world rather than to her own sacred knowing. When her sexuality is reduced, shamed, controlled, commodified, or feared, especially when her voice is trained into silence and her instincts are trained into doubt. Women have learned to leave themselves in order to remain acceptable and all this is exactly why the healing has to go deeper than outrage alone. There has to be a RECLAIMATION.
A woman connected to her body is a different force entirely! Rooted in her sacred sexual self is harder to manipulate, harder to diminish, harder to fracture from within. When a woman knows that her sexuality is holy life force, she stops carrying herself as though her power belongs to somebody else. She begins to feel the intelligence of her own body, trusts signals, sees and honours the red flags. She hears the no in her womb before the mind begins its negotiations and speaks with more clarity. She chooses with more authority and inhabits herself with more dignity.
Sacred sexuality is not some decorative extra for the feminine path, it IS part of the return of the feminine to sovereignty.
So yes, this moment is harrowing, and it is also revealing exactly where the healing lives. The healing lives in women coming back into their bodies as sacred ground, reclaiming their pleasure as their own, their desire as guidance, their voice as power, their boundaries as holy, their sensuality as intelligence, their womb as wisdom, and their life force as something that fuels creation rather than depletion. This is where the transformation begins, women becoming more fully inhabited, present, embodied, awake. Completely unwilling to hand themselves over to anything that asks them to abandon their truth.
This is why doing this work really matters now, sacred sexuality really matters now. The future feminine will be built through embodiment; women who know themselves from the inside out with an aliveness in their bodies, and anchored in their lifeforce. Women who are willing to reclaim what has been buried and bring it back as power, wisdom, radiance, and HOLY self-possession.
This is the work of the 13 Roses. A 13-month initiation into your sacred sexual self; into the body as sacred ground, the womb as wisdom, the life force as something you finally stop giving away. It begins in May. If you are ready to stop surviving yourself and start inhabiting yourself, this is where that begins.
