Lilith and Lucifer are the energies that are in our collective at the moment, they are the shadow side of the feminine and masculine .

Be aware of them within and outside of yourself.

If we can recognise and see the shadow aspects of these archetypes within ourselves we can bring them forth from exile.

WHAT SHADOW ASPECTS OF LILITH ARE YOU UNCONSCIOUS OF?

HOW CAN YOU DIG INTO YOUR BEHAVIOURS TO TRY AND IDENTIFY THEM.

The shadow aspect of the Lilith archetype, particularly in mythology and astrology, reflects themes of suppressed power, unhealed wounds, and rebellion. Lilith is often viewed as a symbol of the rejected, wild feminine and represents parts of the psyche that may have been cast aside, repressed, or judged by societal norms. When we talk about Lilith's "shadow," we are referring to the darker, more unconscious aspects of this energy.

SHADOW ASPECTS:

1. Repressed Anger and Rage
  • Mythologically: Lilith is often portrayed as a figure of defiance, banished from Eden for refusing to submit to Adam. This refusal to submit represents repressed anger or rage, especially in women, at being told they must conform or be subservient.

  • Shadow Aspect: This can manifest as deep-seated anger or rebelliousness that is either expressed in destructive ways or entirely suppressed, leading to internal conflict and resentment.

2. Sexual Shame or Guilt
  • Sexual Liberation and Shame: Lilith is often associated with raw, untamed sexuality. In her shadow form, this can manifest as unresolved feelings of shame, guilt, or fear surrounding one’s sexual desires or experiences. She embodies the split between sexuality as something pure versus something dark or sinful.

  • Shadow Aspect: It can also represent the inner conflict between embracing one’s sexual nature and fearing societal judgment. This may lead to sexual repression or engaging in destructive sexual patterns.

3. Rebellion without Cause
  • Unconscious Defiance: Lilith's shadow can sometimes manifest as rebellion for the sake of rebellion, resisting authority or societal norms even when there’s no clear, healthy goal behind it. This is rebellion driven by unhealed wounds or unresolved trauma.

  • Shadow Aspect: In this form, Lilith energy can create a sense of isolation, feeling outcast or misunderstood due to acting out of fear, anger, or resentment rather than genuine empowerment.

4. Fear of Vulnerability
  • Self-Protection: Lilith represents the refusal to be controlled or victimized. In her shadow, this can translate into a fear of vulnerability, intimacy, or emotional connection. To protect oneself from further rejection or pain, there may be a tendency to put up emotional walls or push people away.

  • Shadow Aspect: This can lead to a deep sense of loneliness or emotional disconnection from others, even while appearing powerful or self-sufficient.

5. Rejection of the Feminine
  • Embracing Darkness but Rejecting Light: While Lilith is a figure of feminine power, the shadow side of her archetype can involve rejecting certain aspects of the feminine that are perceived as weak, such as nurturing or softness.

  • Shadow Aspect: This can lead to a split between one’s own feminine aspects, where there is over-identification with independence and power, but a rejection of empathy, compassion, or emotional expression.

6. Control and Manipulation
  • Power Struggles: In her shadow, Lilith can represent a desire for control, particularly in relationships. This is a reaction to feeling powerless in the past, and the shadow expression seeks to dominate or manipulate as a way of regaining that lost power.

  • Shadow Aspect: This can create toxic dynamics in relationships, where power is prioritized over connection and vulnerability, leading to cycles of manipulation, control, or even self-sabotage.

7. Resentment and Bitterness
  • Victimhood and Isolation: Lilith’s shadow often carries deep feelings of rejection or abandonment. These unhealed wounds can lead to bitterness or a victim mentality, where one feels perpetually misunderstood or wronged.

  • Shadow Aspect: This resentment can prevent healing and growth, trapping an individual in cycles of self-sabotage or negative emotional patterns.

In psychological and spiritual work, integrating Lilith’s shadow involves acknowledging these darker aspects, understanding their origins, and working to heal and transform them into more conscious, empowered expressions of the Lilith energy. This might mean confronting feelings of shame, anger, or rejection and allowing oneself to reclaim lost power in a balanced way.

Black Moon Lilith in astrology is a powerful symbol of feminine empowerment, especially in areas of autonomy, sexual liberation, and the integration of shadow aspects of femininity. It encourages embracing one's full power, rejecting limitations, and standing firm in self-sovereignty.
